From the first application. It made my face look brighter. I have freckles and I really do not like my freckles. This made my freckles look less pronounced. It layered well on my skin with other products and absorbed into my skin quickly, leaving no residue. Unfortunately, after 28 days, I didn't notice a difference with my dark spots or overall brightening."
