I just opened a 90 day supply and noticed the expiration date at the bottom as 4/02/26, over 3 months ago. Does using the product past it expiration date diminish the effectiveness of the product?

I used ceramide time capsules in the 90s. Which product now resembles the original time capsule? I loved it when I used them many years ago and would love to go back to that product again.
